Beasy Transfer Board - is a high functioning transfer board made from a patented DuPont polymer. No more lifting, which can cause injury and soreness to patient’s arms. Patients may independently place themselves on the seat and glide across the board. Beasy technology places the user on a safe, stable seat which moves easily across the base of the system with the user on it. The friction of movement is borne by the system, not the patient’s skin. The system includes two pieces: a Beasy Transfer Board and a round disc that slides the length of the board, secure within the board's track. The Beasy disc moves in a frictionless manner and rotates 360 making it easy sit, turn and move down the board. Consequently, shear forces and friction which cause or contribute to tissue breakdown are eliminated. Intended for use with caregiver supervision and assistance. Models options available.

Care & Cleaning: While Beasy boards are virtually maintenance-free, they should be cleaned as frequently as needed. Use warm water and soap as a general cleanser and wipe dry. Regular use of a disinfectant is recommended. The boards are easily disassembled for cleaning by removing the track guard and removing the bolt that secures the seat to the base. The boards come apart in just seconds for complete cleaning access. If your Beasy board is used by multiple people, we recommend washing the board with disinfectant after each use. These tough materials can be cleaned by virtually any cleaning agent normally used to sanitize durable medical equipment with no adverse effects on the strength or performance of the boards.
After cleaning, we strongly recommend that you lubricate the track of the board with a mineral-based oil to keep the Beasy gliding smoothly.
